This place is an absolute delight. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Food is excellent. And popped in later in the evening where they had a vinyl music night which was a fantastic relaxed party atmosphere. Highly recommended

Sunday roast absolutely delicious. Dessert great. Music Red Diesel got to say thought not my thing but husband likes jazz but really enjoyed their performance. Would definitely recommend and would see them again. Great band. Staff and service were exceptional. Highly recommend.

Another great stay in Bexhill and enjoying Calvers Neighbourhood bar. I’ve been visiting regularly for around 4 years and am never disappointed. The staff are amazing and always go the extra mile to make sure everyone has a great experience. The food is great...full English breakfast and burrito bowl for dinner are my favourites! And the music nights are always epic. I can’t wait to visit again!

Well, where to start.... From start to finish it was a great experience at Calvers. They have recently opened a speakeasy space downstairs, and the attentiveness, service and communication was amazing. We arranged with the owner a time, date and requirements and from there everything was easy! We had our own bar man downstairs, a personalised menu created, and the food was fast, delicious and extremely good value for money. Everything was outstanding, thank you again to all the staff

I’ve just had a fantastic afternoon stop here with a drink and light food options. Cannot speak highly enough of the outstanding service given by the three members of staff, who smiled, helped us and made us so welcome throughout. Food was great. Such a great discovery. Came here for lunch and fell in love with this quirky pub/bar/restaurant. Their sharing veggie platter was one of the best I’ve had in a while... we just needed to get some extra bread separately to finish off all those lovely dips :) Their muscles were cooked to perfection and teriyaki salmon was divine! Reasonably priced for such great quality food. Decent selection of drinks, we had a bottle of Chardonnay on our visit, which was very pleasant. The service was friendly and efficient. They also have free password protected WiFi for customer. Children and dogs are welcome too :) There is a step at the entrance, so not suitable for wheelchair users, however they do have a few seating spaces outside.

We stopped here for a late lunch, mainly because it was dog friendly inside, and really enjoyed it. There is a nice atmosphere and great music playing! The staff were attentive and helpful. I ordered the cauliflower burger and it was so good! Can thoroughly recommend it. The chips were quite salty but we were given a jug of water with ice so not a problem.

Food delicious. Beigels authentic. Service excellent as were cocktails. Lovely venue for locals and visitors. Loved the local crisps too.
